Lucky Cat Gallery is a Modern and Contemporary art gallery specializing in secondary market artwork and collectibles. Lucky Cat offers collectors a curated selection of limited & open edition prints, sculptures, art toys, and home decor by artists + designers like KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Javier Calleja, Yayoi Kusama, Hebru Brantley, and Matt Gondek.

Going against the grain of a traditional gallery, Lucky Cat operates solely online, which allows us to provide clients with competitive pricing and a smooth and secure buying process. In addition to art sales, Lucky Cat Gallery provides clients with consignment services as well as art sourcing.

Lucky Cat Gallery offers a curated selection of artwork editions and collectibles by modern, contemporary, and street artists from around the world. More specifically, we offer limited and open edition art prints, sculptures, art toys, and home decor.

All of our works for sale are $15,000 or less. We carefully select works from reputable artists that not only look good in your home, but can also potentially add value to your collection as the artists’ careers continue to grow.

Lucky Cat Gallery operates solely online and we currently do not have a brick and mortar location that is open to the public. While we are open to temporary Pop-Up locations and experiences in the future, we are currently focused on online and virtual experiences for our collectors from around the world. Lucky Cat Gallery is based in Metro Detroit, Michigan with offices in Miami, Raleigh, and Tokyo.

From payment to re-inspection to delivery, our current order processing time is 10-15 business days (not including weekends or holidays), however we strive to process our orders as quickly as possible. Though a rare occurrence, expected artwork + product shipments from our global network of vendors + partners can become delayed, resulting in a delay in our inventory. If the delay seems to be longer than our average processing time, we will contact you. 

Once your order has successfully gone through the re-inspection process for authenticity and quality assurance, you will receive tracking information for your purchase.

We currently accept the following forms of payment on our website during checkout:

  • All major credit cards + debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, and Discover (via Stripe)
  • Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dai, and Bitcoin Cash (via Coinbase)
  • PayPal
  • Venmo
  • Installment payments (via Affirm)

 

Alternatively, we also accept the following forms of payments:

If you would like to place an order using one of these methods, please contact us for an invoice with payment instructions to complete your purchase. 

For orders shipping to Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina, sales tax will be calculated at checkout.

For international orders outside of the United States, buyers will be responsible for any taxes, VAT, and duties that may be due in order for your package to be released from your country’s customs agency. Each country has different regulations for import and we recommend that you contact your country’s customs office for clarification on the import tax, VAT, and duties that may be due.

If we have the artwork or item physically in our inventory, we will re-inspect the piece for quality assurance. If the artwork or item is available within our network of art collectors, dealers, and galleries, we will have the piece sent to us for inspection.

During the inspection process for quality assurance and authenticity, we look for the following:

  • Is the piece in excellent condition as listed? 
  • Does the piece look like it has ever been used, displayed, or framed?
  • Are there any damages or production flaws? 
  • Is the piece authentic? Are there any signs that show that it is a replica or bootleg?
  • Does the piece come with any signatures, edition numbers, Certificate of Authenticity, serial numbers, stickers, NFC chips, tags, packaging, etc. from the artist or manufacturer? If so, is it included? 

 

If we find something that does not meet our standards or fails authenticity, we will notify you right away about our discovery and your options, which ALWAYS includes a full refund.

If the artwork or item passes our inspection, we will include our gallery’s Certificate of Authenticity along with an invoice or statement for your records. 

Lucky Tip: Saving our COA and documents will come in handy if you ever decide to insure or sell the pieces in your collection in the future.

Just like the art market, our inventory changes frequently. If a piece you are interested in has sold out, you can choose to be notified upon restocking on the product page. Subscribe to our mailing list for updates on upcoming products.

Yes – most items qualify for free domestic shipping unless otherwise noted on the product page or during checkout.

Yes – most items qualify for international shipping unless otherwise noted on the product page or during checkout. If you see an error during checkout, please contact us.

We provide shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL with full tracking and insurance. For almost all orders, we ship with UPS Ground for domestic orders and UPS Worldwide Expedited for international orders. The shipping carrier is selected based on your location and the size & weight of the package. If you have a preference with your shipping carrier or service for your order, please contact us.

All products will ship fully insured in case of any loss or damage due to the shipping carrier. A signature is also required for all orders.

You will receive an email from us with a tracking number as soon as the item is ready for the shipping carrier to pick up.

International buyers will be responsible for any taxes, VAT, and duties that may be due in order for your package to be released from your country’s customs agency. Each country has different regulations for import and we recommend that you contact your country’s customs office for clarification on the import tax, VAT, and duties that may be due. 

To avoid delays in receiving your package, please be sure to check your tracking number in case the shipping carrier is trying to reach you to clear the package from customs. 

For deliveries outside of the US, please contact us with your country, postal code, and the title of the work(s) you are interested in for a shipping quote. Buyer is responsible for any applicable duties or taxes upon arrival. The shipping process will begin upon payment of the shipping invoice.

If you are experiencing delays with the delivery of your order, first contact the shipping carrier from the tracking number provided to see if they are able to provide an update for delivery. 

For international orders, the issue may be due to customs clearance delays and the carrier may be trying to contact you for more information or payment to process the package. 

If the shipping carrier has not been able to provide an update, please contact us to see if we can help communicate with the shipping carrier for an update or, as a last resort, file a missing package claim.

Please contact the shipping carrier to reschedule your delivery. A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is present at the delivery address, the shipping carrier will re-attempt delivery or provide instructions on picking up the package. 

If after multiple failed attempts to deliver the package, the shipping carrier may be forced to return the package back to us. If this is the case, please contact us to coordinate re-shipping your order. You will be responsible for paying for shipping fees and we will re-ship the package once the invoice to re-ship has been paid and the package is received back to us.

Products or artwork may be returned if you received an incorrect or damaged item. If you would like to return your purchase, you must notify us via email or through our website within 3 days of delivery, beginning the day you receive your package. We will pay the return shipping costs only if the return is due to receiving an incorrect or damaged item. All other returns will be reviewed on a case by case basis and the buyer agrees to pay all return shipping costs including full insurance. 

The artwork or product must be kept in your possession and in the same condition as they were when they were delivered, until they are returned to us. Please save all packaging and shipping materials. Lucky Cat will not be liable for any damages that may occur during shipment if the artwork or item is not properly packed. 

Upon receipt of the product, we will refund the total order amount less return shipping costs. The refund will be issued within 10 business days of receipt of the returned product and confirmation of returned condition.

While this is very rare, if the return is due to receiving the incorrect item, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with photos of what you received and we will provide a pre-paid shipping label to return the incorrect item.

The artwork or product must be kept in your possession and in the same condition as they were when they were delivered, until they are returned to us. Please save all packaging and shipping materials. Lucky Cat will not be liable for any damages that may occur during shipment if the artwork or item is not properly packed. 

Upon receipt of the product, we will contact you with your options, which will ALWAYS include a full refund. The refund will be issued within 10 business days of receipt of the returned product and confirmation of returned condition. 

If we are able to send you the correct item, we will let you know and expedite the process as much as possible. However, due to market demand, if the work you wanted is no longer available or cannot be replaced for the order amount, we will issue you a refund or provide a credit towards a different piece at your discretion.

All products sold by Lucky Cat Gallery are hand inspected by our team for quality assurance and carefully packed to avoid any surprises for our collectors. However, in the rare instance that a package is damaged during the shipping process, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with photos of the following:

  • The exterior of the shipping box showing all sides and the shipping label
  • The interior of the shipping box with all of the packing materials
  • The damage(s) on the item
  • The documents and COA that we included in the shipment next to the item.   

 

We will provide a full refund including return shipping for any products that are delivered in a damaged condition due to shipping. Alternatively, we will replace the item with the same or similar product if available. Lucky Cat Gallery accepts no liability for damage incurred to any products during unpacking after receipt. Please unpack all products with care. If a product is damaged upon arrival, please contact us via email or through our website within 3 days of receipt in order to file a claim with the carrier.

For consideration, please be sure to include the following information when contacting us:

  • Name of Artist
  • Title of work
  • Photos
  • Condition
  • Provenance (where did you purchase?)
  • Do you have an invoice or COA?
